Where to find old racing forms?

Just curious…anyone have any idea how to go about finding old racing forms? I’m talking about the newspaper/booklet type forms they hand out at the track. I own a horse that raced once at Oaklawn Park and seven times at Prairie Meadows, and I would love to have a hard copy racing form from his racing days.

His races were all in 2008. Any leads appreciated. It would be a nice momento to have.

Have you tried contacting the racing form? If they can’t help you can try the Keeneland library and see if they have a copy in stock.

If you’re looking to obtain a copy for yourself, try ebay. You’d be surprised how many racing programs end up on ebay.

Just to clarify, are you looking for a copy of The Daily Racing Form (looks like a newspaper) or a copy of the track’s program (looks like a magazine or pamphlet) for that particular day? Both are sold here at Monmouth.

If you’re looking for a copy of the track’s program, you could try contacting the track’s public relations department. I don’t know if they keep copies but it’s worth a shot.

Thanks for the responses. I’m looking for the track’s program for particular days. Although, I suppose I’d also be interested in The Daily Racing Form if it mentions him. I’ll check out the ideas you two have given me so far - much appreciated!

Sorry to be confusing - I’m a hunter/jumper rider and I only go to the track to drool over hunter prospects that look like they might want to come live with me someday.
