Where to Find Pre Owned Chinks?

Hey western gals, anyone have leads to tack shops, etc., that sell pre owned chinks? DH and I are going to WY yet again in Sept. to ride for a week in the Bighorn Mts., and if possible, I’d like to find some chinks. I brought some suede western show chaps the previous two times, chinks will pack a tad smaller. There are some on ebay, but most look awfully cheap, and I don’t want a huge expense going new. I’m a size 8-10, 5’ 3", please PM me if you’ve seen any in shops local to you that would take PayPal and ship to CT. Thanks in advance!!

Good luck - chinks are becoming more popular with the rise of ranch pleasure. I’m in hunterland, so rarely see any western tack. Have fun on your trip.

I have some that are practically new that I don’t wear because I’ve given up on western. They are the shorter chinks, not with the long fringe. Here’s a picture:

I’m 5’5" for reference.

Nice heavy leather, not flimsy, but not fancy, either. PM me if interested.

I had great luck finding a pair on Facebook. They are like new and a great price. Check out Western Tack Trader.

I so prefer the shorter length!!

Why can’t you be a few inches shorter, those are gorgeous and i want to distract you with cookies and steal them

Sorry, spaceage, PP and I corresponded, and the chinks are happily living in CT today. Pocket Pony, you rock! Love them!!

Yay, so glad you like them!!! Wish I could be a cowgirl, but I can’t ride in a western saddle after all, so didn’t need them anymore. :nonchalance:

EVERY time I see this thread on the main page, I read it as “Where to find pre owned CHICKS” and it really throws me for a loop. Every time!

Don’t make me break out the shiny object to distract you with

Simkie I read it like that too
