I’m trying to find a noseband/bridle that I’ve seen : the bridle almost has two nosebands, one normal cavesson and the other a slightly lower piece of rope that I believe is connected to the bit. Any suggestions? I don’t think I described it very well but hopefully someone will know what I’m talking about

Are you maybe thinking of the combo bit?
Sure maybe! ??? any suggestions of a tack store where I could order one?
Many western tack stores sell what is basically a piece of stiff rope with clips you can clip to the cheek pieces for a similar effect with the bit of your choice. Or you can make your own-- I use a grab strap. Some horses really like this setup and others hate it.
I’ve seen a lot of people ride with the Myler combo bit and a regular noseband too, the rope looks similar to the Mikmar ones but totally different actions.
Check out polo tack web sites.
Hmm ok perhaps I need to revise/rethink… I don’t necessarily want a different mouthpiece but wanted to add/attach the rope action to existing bit… I was able to find the combo bits thanks to your help and found some rope nosebands that were just nosebands not connected to the bit… I will keep investigating! Thanks for the answers
