Looking to get a good (safe) barn fan. I don’t want to use the regular box fans, looking for one rated for outdoor/barn use. The only place I know that sells them is Farmtek. Are there any other places that sell them? Are there any specific ones to look for or stay away from? Thanks!

I bought 3 Air King ones from build.com. Tractor Supply also sells their enclosed motor Country Line brand. I have two of those also and they all work fine so far but the TS are a touch noisier. I’ve had one Air King since last summer and being in Florida it has run probably 8 months total with no problems. They are all $90 - $110. The $40 ones from Home Depot look similar but are not dust-safe with exposed copper wiring instead of an enclosed motor. I’m guessing you know that already

TBH, Grainger has what you need but their prices have padding, as it were.
Any “Ag duty” fan with a sealed motor is a good choice. You might look at Farmtek.
Take care that moving air efficiently (less noise, less wasted power) is done with larger fans turning slower. Most affordable fans go really fast and make a lot of noise and advertise it as “high velocity” but that doesn’t make it a good thing. I would consider the largest / slowest moving fan I could afford unless it’s going to operate in an out-of-the-way location.
I so SO love my fans. I didn’t want white! (bug doo doo/ugly stuff showing) I checked each rating and of course sealed motors, etc. I love how these mount (wall or ceiling) and how that too (!) can rotate, not just the fan body. I have one in each horse stall, one in the ailseway and one in the run in! These you can also? add/use a mister addition where/if wanted.
