I don’t need to speak to him. I was thinking of Marylou Whitney, which made me think of Saratoga, and then of Gumtree’s dad declaring him persona non grata at Saratoga until he cut his hair. Then it occurred to me that he hasn’t been here in awhile.

I just wanted to check that all was well, that’s all.
