Which club hunts in Middletown, PA?

I just moved to a new boarding farm and have heard through the grapevine that a fox hunting club has a fixture on the neighboring farm (not sure if I’m using the terminology properly, please forgive me!)… I board just outside of Middletown, PA, near Three Mile Island.

Anyone know which club this might be? I would love to be in contact with them and learn more…

It’s always been a dream of mine to fox-hunt someday… if indeed there is a chance to do so, so close that I wouldn’t even have to trailer there to get there, I think I may have just died and gone to heaven…

I just moved to PA also! I too am very excited to start Fox Hunting! I just received information for Amwell Valley Hounds. http://avhounds.org/
I am not sure where Middletown, PA is but… it is just on the NJ side of the Delaware.
Let me know if you want to go… I would love to meet up with you! Then I will not be the only “new” girl. LOL

our local hunt has sadly fallen into a state of inactivity over the last few years, and i’ve been looking for hunt buddies here in pennsylvania. i’m in the northeast, and travel regularly to virginia to hunt, but am looking for something a little closer to home. i am a veteran, and would be able to show you both the ropes if you’re new to this. i would appreciate any help that you are able to offer

Thank you for your replies! I ran into the BO today and asked; it’s Beaufort Hunt, out of Dillsburg (kennels possibly in Harrisburg?). Any members here, by chance?

The BO said he’d let me know when they’re scheduled to come; hopefully I’ll be able to come and watch/tailgate/meet some people. So excited!

I recently joined the Miami Valley Hunt (central Ohio) as a patron and I am enjoying it very much. I’m game for whatever the hunt needs done (road whipping, fixture maintenance, whatever) while working on my riding so that I can cap at least once this season.

I’ll most likely become a subscriber for next season.

Beaufort Hunt

I am not a member (yet ) but am have been out with Beaufort cubbing twice so far this season and am planning to join very soon. It is a small but very nice/welcoming group! They hunt Sundays (usually in Franklintown) and Tuesdays in various locations (mostly state gamelands around Harrisburg). PM me if you would like more info.

Carrollton Hounds

Carrollton Hounds is another excellent hunt to consider. They are located in Taneytown, Md, just the backside of Gettysburg.
