Which company do you use for trailer insurance?

In the past, the firm I used for home and car insurance also provided insurance for my trailer. We changed providers this year and the new firm doesn’t offer that coverage, so I am looking for a new firm.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

We use Farm Bureau. If you have an awning be sure to let them know or they might not cover it if damaged.

Thanks! No awning, just a plain vanilla 2H GN.

The house, vehicles, and trailer (2H BP) are all with State Farm. It definitely helps having the multi-policy discount, otherwise I couldn’t afford them.

I have everything with Amica.

Everything with USAA.

Keeping everything with one carrier is generally a very wise thing to do.

G.

I have everything with USAA also.

Gotcha in more ways than one.

Great company

We have used Erie, Progressive, Safeco, and American Farm Family.

Another one with USAA - lots of us with military connections

Mine is with All State, as are all the vehicles. I’d definitely see if moving everything to a single company that will do the trailer is going to be cheaper, as it usually is.

State Farm for everything. My husband’s dad was in the military, but I don’t think that makes us eligible for USAA, does it?

Dropped All State when I got those vicious Dobermans. They are breed excluded.

Progressive covers my 2h BP on my auto policy for collision and comprehensive.

GEICO. I’ve not made a trailer claim with them, but they’ve been good on car claims.

It should! Give them a call.

Same.
Farm Family was insistent that it would not be sufficient, but the coverage seemed adequate. Anyone have a different experience?

Thanks all for the great suggestions. We are not military but might consider State Farm as we have some other coverage through them.

Geico. I had to make a claim this past year and they were great.

State Farm for everything for me. I have never had a horse trailer claim with them but I have had a few small claims on my home owners and a few bigger ones on my auto over the last 27 years. They have been great to work with.

State Farm for everything. My agent is great.
