I have sent a letter to the president of Choice Hotels International and copied the WEG CEO, Georgetown Chamber of Commerce, Lexington Chamber of Commerce, Short’s Travel CEO, the hotel itself and the Lexington Herald Leader. It was three pages detailing the issues with the hotel and requesting a pretty significant refund. I’ll let you know what happens!
Fat Katz was delicious! Really slow service (there were only about 4 other tables with customers) but the pizza was goooood!

The Quality Inn Georgetown emailed my mom (her email was on the reservation, but my address was on the complaint letter) and offered her $300 to settle the matter. That is less than half of what I asked for ($600 something), but she doesn’t want to fight anymore so is going to accept. Better than nothing I guess.
Pretty disappointing not to get a response from the corporate office, and I will be sure not to book another Choice Hotel property for a long, long time.
