Which online retailers offer free shipping and returns on helmets?

Trying to buy my daughter a Trauma Void Lynx Helmet, but her size (M) is backordered in a lot of places. The three retailers I know who offer free shipping/free returns (Dover, Riding Warehouse, and SmartPak) are all sold out.

Who else offers free shipping/free returns for helmets?

I think maybe here is one:

And maybe another here:

Mine is a Lynx and I like it.

Thanks, Bluey, but neither of these places offers free return shipping. I’ve already sent back two helmets due to poor fit and spending money for return shipping gets annoying.

Did you check Amazon?

I sure did.

I sure did :frowning:

I believe if you use Paypal to pay, they will pay return shipping

I don’t think that’s true if you buy from a commercial retailer. I think that may be more of an eBay specific policy and even then there are limitations.

just wondering, there are only three sizes of that helmet… and the links in Riding Warehouse show specifically how to measure for fit… are these two helmets that were returned a different brand/manufacturer?

Yes, they were. I’m hopeful this brand – with it’s dial-to-fit technology – will be the winner! I think it’s more of a shape issue than a size issue.

Haha this is exactly what happened to me! So I ordered a more expensive trauma void and it arrived and is too small and just not a good fit. So now I want to try a charles owen with MIPS because dover has 20% off and some good deals on helmets now.

I have a TraumaVoid EQ3, before the Lynx came out. My pseudo-granddaughter chose a Lynx to replace an aging CO. I sent her a large based on the CO sizing. She said 7 1/8 but she needed the medium.

They have 2 different washable liners. The standard is for a round head, the spare is padded more on the sides for oval heads. I was surprised that I found the round more comfortable. I had Tipperary Sportages forever. They also have a MIPS model now.

I never thought I would spend that much on a helmet, but I couldn’t pass up the technology. MIPS has been in bike helmets for years, so it is time-tested.

We can get free returns on Amazon now by dropping things off at Kohl’s department store. They do all the packing. Very handy.
