Only the DSB II boots have binding. I use the Originals which have seams and fleece showing out the bottom. (I was afraid that the binding might rub the horse, so I have never tried 'em.)
Good to know! thanks!
These are exactly what I’ve been looking for!!
But, alas, like so many boot options, they don’t come small enough for a petite horse.
Wow. I had a totally different experience. Valena Woolbacks lasted maybe 2 months before the stitching fell apart all over – not just where they might have rubbed a little from interference or where the velcro gets pulled on. I liked the woolback lining well enough, but the outer material wasn’t my favorite (really thin, held onto marks/dirt more than other boots).
I had a set of the ones from tack of the day for at least 5 years, for the age they still look ok and my mare interferes behind. I got her a set from Dover a few months ago first time I have gotten any of those since they use to be extremely stiff. The Dover boots are already showing wear I wish I spent my money on another totd set
Me too. I’ve had mine for 4 years and they’re in fantastic shape… but I only ride 2 to 3 times a week. I have the woolback which wash up nicely. The outers are black, so don’t show a lot of scuffs.
