Not my horse, but is it normal for white hooves to look pinkish? Owner is worried but says he is sound.
A picture would help a lot. Everything is pinkish? Some pink lines? Pink “blobs”?
Spring grass and mild laminitis did that to my black mare with white feet.
I don’t turn her out until June and a few mowings into the season now.
She seemed sound but “resistant” under saddle. I think it was soreness on all 4 feet so she didn’t look “lame.”

I still don’t know how to use this new forum lol. The horses hooves were all a light pink but he was not lame. JB did not mean to delete you lol.

My horse occasionally get pink streaks through his white hooves and it is bruising. Not always enough to make him lame, but maybe just a bit hesitant with his gait. This horse may benefit from a topical treatment to harden her soles.
