In terms of when white show breeches are required, does it matter if the knee patches or inside fabric is in a different color?
I’ve been seeing a lot of white breeches with grey knee patches/insides. Would these be allowed in shows where white breeches are required or do they need to be 100% white?
They are fine. 
I’ve seen the white breeches with black or grey seat, and you don’t really notice it at all once the rider is in the saddle. Wear what you are most comfortable wearing.
Lots of riders wear white full seats with grey or black seats so can’t imagine grey knee patches would be a problem
Whites with grey/black full seats are way better! So many less stains to deal with/look at. (These stains don’t matter much cause they’re also hidden by the saddle, but at least you can walk around the show without weird stains on your bum.)
Gray or black knee patch/full seat is totally acceptable. No one really notices.
