Who are the Casall daughters being bred to?

I’m reading a lot about who people are breeding Casall to, but what about his daughters?
I have lovely casall daughter (Stamm 1947, out of a contender/heraldik mother. I believe some on this forum are closely familiar with her). Although I don’t plan to breed her this year, I do want to educate myself.
Without getting into too many details at this VERY preliminary stage, she is a 56bonit mare (including 8s for her gaits and 9 for topline) and one of the best temperaments I’ve ever worked with. Her mother line has produced well (can be found on horse telex).
What are people out there doing with their Casall daughters? What’s been working?

Let’s try this again. Maybe it’s too hard a question with my mare in mind. Instead, in general, do people know who the Casall daughters are being bred to?

I had a mare that was Cartier R/Casall. Cartier R is Cassini I/Acorado.

Thanks. What did you like/ want to improve about her? What did cartier R bring to the mother?

You might keep an eye on the foal inspections and auctions in Germany as it would give you a glimpse of what might be working. (Great that everything is on line now!)

My Casall maiden mare lost her embryos in the first month of her pregnancies last year. Just heartbreaking. These are the stallions we attempted in order:
Diamant de Semilly
Elvis Ter Putte
Contefino, who is a lovely and fertile local Holsteiner stallion.
I’ve followed this forum for a long time. Now I know why everyone says breeding is not for the faint of heart.
Good luck, LPiper!

Casall produces such varied offspring that it’s hard to say who you should breed to generically. I know with my Casall I’d stay far far away from anything with Capitol I in the bloodlines and look for a more modern leggy tall and bloodier type to cross with. But it just depends what you have. Do you have full bloodlines and photos available?

I don’t have photos, but here is her pedigree:

She is a leggy modern mare, as you can see from her mareline her family has a lot of blood and has produced with blood, including mighty magic (world champion young event horse). She’s a 56 bonit mare, 8977888. She has a phenomenal mind and has been easy to start despite being a 7yr old broodmare.

Good suggestion! Looks like livello is being used often.

Awful! Yeah, I’ve always felt it’s easier to buy a young hirsethan breed one!

My Casall mare had a super Livello Filly last year, and I would for sure repeat the breeding. I am using Colman this year, but keep in mind my Casall mare is 17hh. I was going to use Untouchable, but will probably do that next year. If you have a traditional Casall mare you need to breed to stallions that is a bold jumper, with long legs and long lines. Corrado I is a good nick, and so is Carthago. I would be careful with Contefino if your mare isn’t tall enough, but being that she is out of a Contender/Heraldik XX mother I would assume is tall enough.

Excellent, thank you. She’s 16.3hh and yes, her mother and grand dam are apparently quite tall (Adriana has met both). She’s a beautiful mover, correct, excellent top line.
