I really like Debbie MacDonald and Brentina. They have a deep bond and great working relationship, I really like the flow of their tests, and Brentina’s piaffe is fabulous. IMO they should have medalled in the Athens Olympics and the World Championships in Jerez. I think they’re great.

all the american horses and riders (as well as other countries) at that level are very good in most ways. i can get something good out of watching any of them.
Hmmm… I really love the way Guenter rides his mounts. Tactful, quiet.

I’ve seen them do their Freestyle to the Madonna medley at Devon and it was just amazing.

Talk about ROCKSTARS… These two really seem to embody the whole “team” relationship factor. I still love watching the video of the freestyle they did at gladstone, after the rainstorm, after she had warmed him up and then they had to sit and wait, etc… He worked it out! Really showed the partnership there! Krissi seems to really appreciate their partnership and shows so much joy being able to ride him… I’m still bummed they are not on the O team…

Nilfish, Denmark has been on the map for longer than that. We know there are good horses there too silly!!
There are so many great horse/rider combinations out there, and they all have their own individual strengths and weaknesses. Ver enjoyable to watch. :yes:
But I really like Jade Deter, A Canadian Young Rider who did especially well last year at the NAJYRC, earning gold in all three classes in the FEI Junior Division with Mastermind.

That said, my favorite pair is Isabell Werth and whomever she is riding. I love that she has success with horses of very different types. I think Satchmo is my current favorite (oh lord would I love to ride that horse) but I love that she can make an 18 hand horse look graceful and non-lumbering.

I LOVE Isabell Werth and Satchmo- I just love her…she is what I aspire to be.
I also love Anky-and Sal- but not as much!
I love Steffen and Ravel- I think they can get to a magic point if the stars are lined up correctly.
I love Debbie and Brentina- because they embody true partnership between the rider and the horse- and they are very harmonious and know their stuff 100%.
I hope for and admire Courtney and Myth because they have great potential and moments of total brilliance and I hope they do really well in Bejing.
