My friend got one from New Vocations in Ky earlier this summer. He was nicely restarted and it was a smooth transition. Her first time having and OTTB and she’s been very happy. They were upfront with the health issues of the ones in their care.
Turningforhome.org is the non-profit created by the Pennsylvania Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association (PTHA). They have partner farms in multiple states. Each horse is evaluated by track vets and sent to partner farms for down-time, retraining and re-homing.
