Who is cancelled and who is running...all in one thread.

If you know if they are cancelled or running (and approximate dates). Might be good to have them all in one spot, so people can figure out if they can/want to attend. Even schooling shows. And maybe include the state.

Rumors are ok too.

Highfields in Aiken is running all their shows. That’s the only one I know of

May - Devon (PA) - cancelled
6/4-7 - 5/A Baker Charity Horse Show (CT) - cancelled
6/23-7/5 - Lake Placid (NY) - cancelled

WEC is running both July shows and their August summer show.

No rated June shows in zone 3 that I know of… Vermont Summer Festival just cancelled for the summer. HITS Culpeper is still planning to run in July and Lexington National in August.

Waterloo in Michigan canceled but GLEF just said they are a go

Tryon is in Zone 3

June Huntercreek shows in Oregon all cancelled.

I recently (within a week?) saw an announcement from WEC that ALL 2020 shows are cancelled, and they are looking forward to opening the Ocala facility in 2021.

I think that it was all indoor shows were canceled, not the outdoor summer ones. But don’t quote me on that.

WEC Ohio summer shows are running, last I heard. The facility is closing from September 1-March 31, so their entire winter series in Ohio is a no go. Ocala 2021 is a go.

Whoops you’re right

Brownland June-July rescheduled series?

Insanity! Mix this many weeks of horse showing with all the out of town tourists waiting to descend on the area and our relatively healthy small communities are soon to become very unsafe. But I guess it’s all about the entitlement and $$$.

Almost all other major tourist event attractions in the area have wisely cancelled - National Cherry Festival, Film Festival, numerous wine and art festivals, major running events; all no go this year, but GLEF goes on and even expands. Speaks rather poorly for the privileged horse community unfortunately. Do they have one iota of concern for the residents of the area?
