Who Is Nick Peronace?

And why do some COTHers think COTH is an appropriate place to attack him? There was a thread awhile back attacking him, and now there’s a new person here, a “Greenie” who started a thread just to attack him.

I thought this was supposed to be a horse-related discussion board, not a place for people to attack other people. It’s bad enough when COTHers attack each other, but for a non-COTHer to join this BB just to attack someone who’s not a COTHer is totally inappropriate.

Is that what COTH wants? A reputation as a BB that people join just to attack other people?

Not very sportsmanlike.

It isn’t the answer you are looking for, but Nick has been a member of this board on multiple occasions and was just a member recently.

Reported. We discuss the ethics of trainers here on this board. When snake oil salesmen try to rip off unknowning riders, they get outed on this board. The ethics of horsemen is entirely appropriate.

What’s not very sportsman like is Nick Peronace complaining when he got scores he didn’t like, and accusing judges with outstanding reputations of being biased against him, and accusing other people who object to his ethics of influencing the judges against him. If you want to see “not very sportsmanlike” look at Nick Peronace. He’s the epitomy of a sore loser.

I’ve been a reader of these forums for a long time but simply chose not to participate. In all that time I saw no rules anywhere on the site indicating that someone new to posting in the forum, or starting a new thread, is not allowed to post in a certain manner until such time as they reach a suitable status level.

I saw what to me is an individual whose level of perceived knowledge is laughable at best, as well as an individual who is possibly physically dangerous (my opinion due to law enforcement type training) and felt enough that the issue needed to be made current.

Nick Peronace claims to be a dressage trainer…I’d say the correlation between the individual and the subject meets the definition for inclusion in an equine industry related site/forum.

Get a life people.

I don’t think ‘attack’ means what you think it means. I’m also not sure people have joined COTH JUST to ‘attack’ this guy.

NP professes, at times, to be a professional rider/trainer/instructor of Dressage and a maestro.
In those roles guess what, people will critique. And if you’re not up to snuff, that critique will not be favorable or always kind.
That’s how the world works. If you offer a service like training or instruction [and he does], and you’re really not what you say you are, people will out you.

That is by no means an attack.
