Who would you choose: Rood & Riddle or Hagyard?

For a horse with bilateral fractured sesamoids, which would you choose and why? Vet said not to go to OSU (I’m outside Dayton, OH), with the thinking being R&R and Hagyard teams being much more well-versed in this type of injury. Thanks in advance!

I’ve had excellent experiences with both for very different reasons (one colic hospitalization, one with 2 fractured coffins). Podiatry at R&R was absolutely unmatched and if I ever have foot trouble again, they will be my first call.

I’m partial to Hagyard because of knowing the staff better, but really no personal reason to choose one over the other.

Dr Robert Hunt at Hagyards is brilliant and a brilliant surgeon. I’ve send hundreds of yearlings and racehorses to him over my career
