Why do you hunt?

I hunt because I love my dawgs, love my horses, love the countryside, and I love the people who feel the same way. Can’t live without it.
Hunted both drag and live, on foot and mounted, here in Canada, the US and Ireland. It’s all good - even a “bad” day hunting is better than doing anything else !

• sitting here at my computer with Beagle pups at my feet, and Terriers on the couch. Had a great walk out this afternoon after work - even got a lovely big hare up. Makes the work week stress just disappear.

I can only remember 2 kills in the 5yrs or so of hunting I did. We’ve also ran into quite a few coyote and a few bobcats.
