Yeah this one has been floating around the forum. Already a thread on it. Quite the image.
Hee hee hee.
I had not seen it before, and actually thought this was a new poop-flinging thread…you got me! LOLOL! That was awesome…
It’s funny you say that, asspants, because I’m the one that started the thread on this in the hunting forum. But what I didn’t post is how I got the image and how I almost burst a blood vessel.
I’m sitting in my chair drinking coffee and I get a forwarded email from a friend titled: “Foxhunting: Should This Be Stopped?”
I click on the email - but no image or text.
Steam starts coming out of my ears. I’m thinking that some AR nut is starting some sort smear campaign directed at foxhunting (in my area all the fox are all being killed off by coyote but that’s another subject), has the usual incorrect information and stereotypes, and I’ve got my knickers in a twist and I’m Going To Do Something. Harumph Harumph
I reply to the email - asking my friend to send the email again - as the text didn’t come through; nor did an image.
Sooooo - she sends it again and I click on the picture and get a good laugh - I put away my soapbox, close up my writing materials and my blood pressure returns to normal.
I put more wood on the fire, sip my coffee, and chuckle as I hit “save” and “print” so I can tape it up in my tackroom.
Do you think that fox had a hunting license?
The End.
Sorry J Swan, I very rarely go to the hunting forum since I got my tailfeathers CHEWED for asking questions about "What happened to the Shamrock Hounds Hunt…nevermind I was a member of that hunt years ago, moved away, and lost contact for other various reasons. I stay out of eventing and dressage as well. Most of my posts are either Horse Care and Off Course.
But I digress, funny story indeed! I’ve been the person chewed before about foxhunting and it’s “cruelty” to animals…funny it was never by anyone that owned chickens as I do…:uhoh: Go figure, huh?
hahaha That it is a good one.
I thought someone was trying to start something.
Good surprise.
yeah. I saw that on the hunting forum… and THankyou JSwan… Mr. C. had to clean hot chocolate from my laptop afterwards… lol
Y’all must come hunting with me if you ever get up here. I basically just stand in the back, drink, tell funny jokes (the more I drink, the funnier I think I am), and listen to those beeeautiful hounds. I don’t take it all that seriously anymore - I just want to watch the hounds work.
I even get to see the fox sometimes.
Ours don’t carry guns, though. They must be Democrats.
Or, we can ditch the horses and just go chase wabbits with Peanut. She’s not a very steady hound - but she does take me on some good runs sometimes.
I don’t think our rabbits are armed, either.
Is that an actual dead fox carcass posed on the gun ?

Could be. Or photoshop. I sure can’t tell, anymore, these days.

If so-not funny-very disrespectful to vanquished quarry.

Heck, here in IL he would need a permit to even have the weapon, let alone a hunting license!!
I was already for a fight after seeing the title on this thread, but then I forwarded the picture to my dad, who I am sure will send to all of his hunting buddies!

I’m pretty sure it’s photoshopped. But I can’t tell these days, either.
I still think it’s funny. But then again - one of my favorite pictures is of my beloved beagle, Peanut, posing with the biggest rabbit I have ever seen.
