Why oh why can't I reply to this innocuous thread?

I have tried probably 10 times to reply to this thread…

Every time I click the “reply” button, type my message, and hit send-- I get an error screen. I tried logging in/out and replying to other messages. Nothing fixed the problem. Aurgh! Why can’t I reply to this innocuous thread?

Below is the reply I keep trying to leave, I can’t see a thing wrong with the reply or the thread…

I have asked three vets about this. One is a top, TOP vet. All three said they were not aware of negative side effects from the long-term use of low levels of Robaxin. One had an experience where a client used high levels Robaxin for a over a year, with no problem.

During “normal” times, Shane gets 5 tabs 2x/day (don’t quote me but I believe the tabs are 500 mg). At times, during the winter when the ground is hard, he gets 7 or 10 tabs 2x/day just to get through the “tough” period. He had been on this regiment for nearly a 8 months. I believe it is more effective than mesotherapy, which he also received. In fact, low levels of Robaxin seem to make him more comfortable and sound than anything else I have tried for him, and I have tried virtually everything (custom fitted saddle-check, special shoeing-check, massage-check, mesotherapy-check, Adequan-check, oral supplements-check, hock injections-check… the list goes on).

You can also order Robaxin in powdered, flavored form. I am giving that a try now, in lieu of the pills.

I know people who have taken Robaxin, at much higher doses, for long periods of time. Ask your vet, of course, but Robaxin is actually pretty safe for long-term use.

Sorry, I don’t have a solution to your problem, but I do love that your thread title is written in iambic pentameter. Props.

I saw you were able to get your reply posted–did you figure out what the problem was from your end? If you have a minute, please let us know in case it’s something we can address for the future on our end, or could be of help for other folks!

Thanks, and sorry for not seeing this yesterday!

I never determined what the problem was. I ended up waiting about 10-15 minutes and then came back and it worked. I wonder if someone else was simultaneously posting as I was trying to, and that’s why the site could never find the page after I cut and pasted my response-- because by then the page was gone? no idea.

It sometimes happens! Normally when you’ve taken time to really think through a well considered post. It’s called “Sod’s Law”

Happened to me when I responded to a PM this morning - got the error message - had a curse and typed again but saved it to microsoft word and then sent it.

It worked.

Sod’s Law also dictates if you’re prepared for something going wrong, then it won’t.
