The title pretty much says it. On one of the “attempt to meet” threads people suggested the COTH booth, if there was to be one, as a possibly useful place to meet up.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!!:winkgrin::winkgrin::winkgrin:
I am counting on them having WiFi like they did at… um… Rolex? Wellington? I can’t remember where I it, but you could sit down and check your email–and of course the boards.

OMG! Yes please!
I’m not sure, but I just sent a query to the main office with a link to this thread, so someone should be reporting back!
WEG Booth
Hi all,
We most definitely will have a booth for the entire Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. We’d love to meet some of you, so please feel free to use the booth as a rendezvous point.
Unfortunately, we won’t be able to provide free WiFi like we did at WEF. But we will have WEG preview issues available, and lots of great goodies for sale.
Hope to see you there!
Sara

“some”? WAAH!!!
At least she is honest that they only want to meet SOME of us!
Ooops. Poor word choice on my part!
I would like to meet any and all COTH BB addicts who will be present at the Games this year.
However, to be quite honest, the likelihood that I will be able to spend any time at the booth is slim. But, if you see a tall woman running around like crazy with a giant camera and a COTH polo shirt, that’s probably me, and you should feel free to introduce yourself!
Our booth will be fully staffed throughout the WEG with our wonderful marketing folks though, so ALL forums readers should feel free to stop by and say hello.
AT&T will be providing wireless service for the WEG.
AT&T will also be providing GPS tracking of the endurance riders on course (I’ll be there to cover Endurance and helping out at the Akhal-Teke Breed Booth for the first week).

Free? I’m not an AT&T customer but love free wi-fi…
Wireless, not WiFi
(i.e. cellular 2G/3G voice/data)
Here’s some free wifi in Georgetown:
Lock & Key Cafe-Boutique - 201 East Main Street
Scott County Public Library - 104 S Bradford Lane
McDonald’s - 400 Connector Rd

yeah, that was a funny typo
MM…
So if I have my AT&T cell modem, I should be good, 'eh?
Will I have to up my plan (I’m on the lowest tier of mg per mo.) or will THAT be free???
I don’t quite get it.
Luckily my cell phone is free roam, so I should be good on that.
