Now I’ve jingled it a few dozen more times for Willem’s feeties.

Coreene, from personal experience, you might want to consider culturing the goo coming out of those abscesses, just to check you are treating the right infection. It’s a bugger to be stabbing the poor chap twice a day if it’s for the wrong thing.
You must be exhausted. Don’t forget to eat and sleep yourself, now, will you?
So I told Glimmer what was going on with Willem yesterday, and his german side came out (he is half Hanno, half TB you know).
I tried to write it down, I think he said: “erhalten Sie die hohen Oberseiten der convers, sie sind am bequemsten!” Which I think has something to do with Willem’s choice of conver’s shoes…
and then he said something like: saugt Füße Schmerz. Wann Sie, die Füße besser, ich glauben nimmt Sie tanzend mit meinen Damefreunden, O.K.? Which I think is something about feet and dancing later when they are better… I am not sure, because I tried to repeat it to my mother in law who is fluent but she just looked at me oddly and started laughing. So who knows how badly I butchered the language…
Then his TB side came out, and he is jingling for Willem like he is coming down the homestretch at the Kentucky Derby. It caught on, and now all 10 horses around him are jingling and its’ spreading fast…
Take care of yourself Coreene, so you can take care of Willem. That is muy importanto!
This is another one of those reminders that stress falls into two categories:
All I can say is that I left Mr. Atkins in the dust, but that the nachos from Carl’s Jr are REALLY yummy.
Willem, hugs to you and your modder (you loff her). Keep up the fight big guy!
C’mon, Willem, stop thinking about food, and concentrate on getting well!! This is too hard on your modder!!

I think the hardest part is when you have a spell where it gets a bit better every day and then you have a day where it is not. We dropped the Pentoxifylline down on Wednesday, but put it back up on Friday because it seemed like it was too soon. Then he seemed a bit better, but then last night and today it seemed a bit worse. I know that not every day will be stellar, but since I have never had a horse with this before, I have no idea what to expect.
Some of my fellow BBers have known about this since the beginning, and I am just SO blessed for all the encouragement and strength and support and advice that I have drawn from them.
