WINNER - America's Next Dancing Dressage Star!

Stuge, I guess “wow” is in the eye of the beholder. Which horse did you hope would win, and why?

Thanks for the contest and taking the time to tally the votes.

Enjoyed it and look forward to next year’s offerings from brave riders.:cool:

Teddy’s Mom - this “contest” had nothing to do with good riding or educating your eye, but everything with who could get the most people to vote on Youtube. That’s a great message we’re sending to young folks, don’t you think?
:D:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

As King’s owner, I am just thrilled by the outcome of the contest. He was off for 2 1/2 years with a badly torn DDF tendon. Several Vet Radiologists said that the horse would never be competition healthy. Thanks to Vet Stem, he has been back competing since spring of 2007. King would not be where he is today without Julie Madriguera. Julie and her husband, Lyndon Rife, have had the patience to bring him along slowly. I never dreamed that King could hold his own against all the wonderful warmbloods out there. He is a very special horse.
I know Julie and Lyndon…used to be in Region 9 for many years. Congrats on your horse going against the odds. Hope they are doing well. I did the announcing at the regional championships for a few years as well as the shows at Cedar Trace in College Station. Best of luck to you and your team.

I would like to place my vote for #3! I am amazed that what is to be a work horse has the ability to be this graceful. The music is also quite a choice - very emotional. A pleasure to watch!

Thanks to Mike for running the Contest !!!

It was great fun to join in the contest, watching and waiting for the winner. Thanks for making such a nice competition away from the arenas…

Karen, you’re welcome! Now on to the 2009 contest which will be:

“In Search of North America’s Next Dancing Dressage Star”

Don’t want to leave our Canadian friends out of the fun. :slight_smile:
