Wintec/Arena/Bates Easy Change Riser System?

Anyone have experience and reviews of using these yellow shims to balance these brands of saddles? Good or bad? Would like to try them.to balance an Arena dressage saddle…to lift the back of it a bit.

I don’t know those shims specifically, but I would be very sure to figure out why the back needs to be raised first. Only rarely is it because the panels aren’t thick enough, and/or the back is low enough. Most often, a saddle sits pommel-high because it’s either too narrow, or placed too far forward.

I just looked up the shims. There’s nothing magic about them, they’re just shims with different shapes for the front, middle and rear of the saddle. I’m at least glad to see that the standard set comes with shims for the center of the saddle too. You don’t want to add rear risers, and create a bridging situation.
