I realize this is the endurance forum…but does anyone have this saddle, or even the all purpose model? Opinions or reviews?
I have the all purpose model. I love it, super lite, super comfy memory foam, very “sticky” deep secure seat. My trainer borrowed it for her mare and I haven’t actually gotten it back yet. (I am not riding now or in the near future so not a big deal). She loves it too, as do her students who have ridden in it. In fact, pretty much everyone who sat their butt in my saddle told me how much they loved it.
So yeah, of all the saddles I have ridden in, and I’ve sat in a few, it is my favorite. Had it on several horses too, from a fjord to a slim OTTB. They all went well in it, with some adjustments.
I trail ride in a 20 yo knock off–a Syntack synthetic dressage saddle. My butt and the horses really like it.
I had one for my daughter and she really liked it. It’s hard to beat the grip of the equisuede. I had a Wintec Pro Stock I dearly loved until two hours into a ride and then that thing just killed me! It was like my backside was parked over the edge of iron frying pan and that edge bit into my seat bones horribly along the rim dividing the pommel to the seat. It has made me hesitant to buy another Wintec and I had been a fan for a while. Though it was probably just that design/model.
