For years I have worn Irideon Windpro winter tights with knee patches, interior flannel from waist to ankles, and a “waterproof/windproof” coating on outside. Love them!
Went to buy another pair this year, ordered online from Dee’s (great service) but when I got the tights the original fabric and flannel only went from waist to knees and then a thin, slinky fabric (like a slip!) went from knee to ankle. I mean ONLY a thin, slinky fabric, period. Wow, how less warm could you get?? I guess if someone wore tight tall boots you’d appreciate that thin fabric but I’m trail riding in short boots (like just about 100% of trail and endurance riders I know) and I personally don’t like wearing high boots or even half-chaps.
Dee’s wasn’t aware of the change and I’ve gotten no response from messages left to Irideon (now Toklat Irideon) on their customer phone line or email, so I guess I need another alternative. Any suggestions? (FYI,The Windpros were in $80-120 range depending on if you caught a sale.)

Did the tag indicate that it was the Wind Pro Tights? I also feel like you were probably sent the wrong product
Kerrits Sit Tight and Warm are the same as Wind Pro. I’ve had both. Also Net Equestrian had a big sale of winter breeches and Wind Pros and Sit Tight and Warm breeches were $28-38 dollars. Great deal. I got a pair. They sell out quickly though so not sure what may be left.
Thanks for replies, I’ve been away and offline. I’m sure I did miss those great prices but I did hear back from Toklat that they are again making the “WindPro” all-the-way-down version. Last year they responded to the “tight tall boots” requests for thinner material below knees and must have heard that they still need the originals. So I can at least get them!
