Hey there – I have a Vendor booth at WEG - pretty excited about that. We will have all of the FF stuff, including the boots, chaps and a sample of her new saddle. Apryl
Awesome! It was great meeting you at Horse Expo.

I’ve bought from Horse & Rider, Etc and they’re great. They have lots of stuff, they’re prices are great, and they’ll order you anything they don’t have in stock

Fantastic. Great deals too I hope!?

I will be up 9/30-10/3.

the Fuller Fillies boots arrived in England today

Just saw on FF’s FB that they arrived in England today, so the vendors who stock them here should have them soon as well.

Link to the low rise tuffriders in big sizes please???

My girlfriend gets the golf shirts at wally world to ride in too and she loves them. Im going to go check them out because she is always much cooler than I am in them.

Anyone received their FF dress boots yet?

And does anyone know if FF will be at WEG?
I’d like the TuffRiders link as well, please

BOOTS ARE HERE, BOOTS ARE HERE!

The Curvy Cowgirl posted on their FB that they boots arrived!

Nittany/Hispar boots?

So I gather that there’s not a lot of good experiences with these boots, but they are a very nice price AND I am not far away at all from State College, PA, supposedly where they are based, so what I’m wondering is if it would be worth trying to go and try some on in person and just buy the pair that I try on if they seem to fit without any quality problems.

Or are they just poor quality leather and so on also, so even if they look okay, they won’t hold up?

(I wouldn’t make a special trip out that way, but we go to Harrisburg every few months or so, and State College is roughly between here and there, so.)

WOO HOO!!

kdow, I’d call ahead and make sure she has your size in stock and in multiple pairs. Quality and consistency with the Nittany boots were way off in my experience. She sources them from multiple plants in Pakistan, and of the four pairs I saw in my dreadful experience with the company, three of them weren’t worth $25, and the fourth was actually fairly nice. You’d never guess they were a;l the same “brand”, though.

Some of my earlier comments are here.

So far the FF boot reviews have been good. I will post a pic tomorrow that a friend sent of hers.

Meanwhile, I saw this on sale the other day at Equestrian Collections - plus size hunt/melton coat. Looks nice and a good price.
My hubby got me that Melton hunt coat for Christmas…What a COOL hubby…he scored major brownie points for that!!!

I took a deep breath and ordered my FF dress boots from Apryl today. I’ve been waffling for weeks on whether to try them, but decided to take the plunge since most brands that have wide calf sizes don’t have a solution for wide calf AND small foot-usually the right calf size starts about three sizes above my shoe size! Plus, my calf muscle ties in really, really low,so I like the idea of the stretchy panel providing a good fit all the way down. I figure the worst that can happen is I hate them and have to return them.

Can’t wait til they come-will be sure to post a review.

Here’s a photo.

Please include in your review how well you think they’d do on someone whose calf size might fluctuate a bit. I’m kind of pondering going that way instead of trying to find regular boots to fit, because I hope to lose a bit of weight but even then I know I’m still going to have big calves. (I am built like my dad. Even when slim, I have muscles. I do not ever get that long-and-lean look.)

Could someone also tell me how much adjustment/give there is in the ankle area, if any, as a result of the stretchy section? It’s hard to tell from pictures exactly where the stretchy bit starts and ends.

The photo I posted a few hours ago shows that the stretchy starts right at the top of the foot part.

Does anyone know when the FF tall boots are going to be available on SmartPak? I have had an order in for a couple of months, they kept changing the expected ship date and now it is just showing up as “out of stock”. I am desperate for boots that will fit my short, wide calves!

So it does, though it looks like the heel part comes a bit high - still, with field boots I could loosen the lacing a little if need be also. (No one’s going to care in dressage if I’m wearing field boots instead of dress basically for medical reasons, right? I have arthritis in my ankles and don’t really want to sink $200-300 into boots I won’t be able to wear if my ankles start swelling more than they do now.)

Anyway, thanks for pointing that out in the photo, I didn’t really notice when I looked before. I look forward to hearing what people think of them in general now - construction quality and so on, and how they feel to ride in.

I noticed the same thing. Now they are pushed back to 7/2 (as of today; yesterday they were 6/30), so they SHOULD go out soon. I love SmartPak, but I ordered my boots from the Curvy Cowgirl since SmartPak pushed the dates back every time. Within a very short time of my order confirmation, I got a very nice email from Apryl saying that they have had a ton of orders for them and are getting them out ASAP-I should have mine next week. So now I love SmartPak AND the Curcy Cowgirl!

Apryl at the Curvy Cowgirl is great- and they even have a low flat rate shipping special going on now for the summer!!!

Thanks for the info!

Oh good. I think I’ll hold out for SmartPak for a while longer then. I love that store and really would like to support them as much as possible. If it gets pushed back yet another month however, well, then I might have to look into other options.
