Brown herringbone with black seat. Love, love, love.

I have those, but mine have a brown seat. Which is tempting me to get brown boots. I have the blue/black and the brown/black as well. My most favorite breeches ever.
I’m going to try on a pair tomorrow… Coreene, is it true that you take 6" off your waist size to figure out your FF breeches size?
I have no idea what my waist measurement is; two pair are the size of all my other breeches, three pair are a size bigger. Both fit great, but prefer the larger one.
Got the MyShell jacket in black/blue to go with the blue/black and brown/black ones. Seriously, best breeches I have, I love them.
Thanks! I’ll try them and see, I guess.
And five… FIVE pairs? You clotheshorse, you!

I think there’s a little variation based on your build (waist/hip ratio, etc). I contacted customer service and gave them my measurement, body type, and street clothes size. They were delightfully helpful. I ended up with the size that was 6" smaller than my waist size and they are a very good fit.
I got them in one size. Then tried them in a second; Curvy Cowgirl sent out one pair of each of the plaid in both sizes and said keep the ones you want and send the other two back (she is super when you’re not sure about sizing and does this quite often).
So I had each in two sizes and then suddenly thought - horror - what if, say, I had the blue/black ones on and got a stain from whatever that I couldn’t get out? And they didn’t have any more? After all, they’re not going to have each one forever, so I bought the additional two that she’d sent.
And then she had the brown herringbone with the brown seats and, yeah, caved on those too.
Then we saw her at Western States Horse Expo (she was the whole reason we drove up in the first place, because Apryl is a hoot, I love her and her daughter Lauren) and she had the MyShell jackets. And I was hemming and hawing over them and she said “You already liked these in February. They’re going to be discontinued.”
So I snapped up one of those then as well.
To think I started with just the Fuller Fillies cell phone holder…

Oooooohhhh Yeah, This is my logical downfall every single time! ;)
MEP, I knew we were sisters!
Kind of like how I buy one of every colour in items I like… and then if I really like ‘em I buy back ups for when the original gets faded and worn out.
Alas, retailers in Canada are having issues as the Canadian distributor is no longer going to distribute the line. I went to two places Thursday afternoon. One place had the plaids, but not in my size. Another place had my size but no plaids, just plain beige. They offered that I try on the beige for sizing and they’d try to get the plaids in for me once sizing was confirmed, but since the store had no AC and it was 40C+ with the humidity (that’s like the surface of the sun for those of you who don’t do celcius) I declined. So, until some Canadian distributor picks up the line, I will have to covet the plaid full seats from afar or get my brother in Maine to order some for me and bring them up on his next trip.
Curvy Cowgirl ships to Canada. Hope to take advantage of this for my birthday…
Yeah, but I really did want to try them on first.
My apologies for not reading 111 pages, but does anyone know of a pair of NICE riding JEAN BREECHES? I’m not sure of the size (maybe 14?),because I’ve lost weight (Yay me! I’m sure I’ll find it again…it’s likely lurking around a corner waiting for me…), but in the meantime, I’d need the manufacturer to have a sizing chart as well.
Anybody?

Fuller Fillies does have a denim breech.

I am a plus-size rider(when I actually have the time to ride), so this is good info!
Can I, though, tell a funny story of what happened to me once?
I was at a saddle shop sitting in a new saddle trying it out (Stubben Roxanne–niiiiice!) a few years ago, pre-baby even. I was mentioning to the friend I had with me that the 17 1/2was a really nice fit for me… what did she think?
When a tall, lanky, really svelte employee who has probably had a metabolism that ran like a race car her entire life (she was in her 60’s probably), casually said to me as she walked by…“oh, honey, you need the 18… look at the size of your thighs!”
I had to laugh, I have a good ego so it didn’t upset me, and I wasn’t even heavy at that point.
