Here are the brown boots.

KrazyTB, I never use the zips, I use boot pulls. Much, much easier.

Thanks, Coreene - I do have a gorgeous pair of Vogels just sitting here waiting for me to see if they fit. But, honesly, they DON"T CARE here if you are in half chaps as long as they match your boots (and the ones I bought at Dublin last year are gorgeous, even if I have scratched them a bit wearing them this summer…)

I might take the Vogels and have zippers put in… would be much easier!

So thanks, anyway! Of course, now that So Easy is riding again…

But they aren’t FULL SEAT (and sticky fill seat at that!)

HelLO they are NINE DOLLARS, take the $$ you save and buy Saddle-Tite!

I have black and gray on the way.

For anyone who is interested, I write a blog about apparel and tack for the fuller figured rider and the not-so-average sized horse. I just do this for fun and as I have time and funds to purchase new things for myself or my beastie. I hope you enjoy it and find some useful info. Pleas let me know if there is anything you’d like me to check out and review or try. Thanks.

Darling, what impeccable timing, we were only discussing the ribbed TuffRiders yesterday in the exact color about which you wrote. Will order some right now. I just might love you. You know, in a You Go Girl sort of way.

Edited to say yes, I am ordering them despite the stellar review, it is all about the color.

Thanks, Correene! I actually wore those breeches in my event yesterday. Pictures of which can be seen at the link below.

As do I, along with a pair of the Fuller Fillies half chaps that are also on sale for $6.00. Whoot!

I prefer jods over breeches anyway, and who can pass up $9.00 a pair?

Fab! Darling horse.

I just ordered the performance fabric shirt, wool jacket and half chaps last week…although SmartPak doesn’t deliver to |Canada, a friend of mine who works in NY graciously allowed me to send them to her address instead. Dang, I wish they had marked down the Lush jods before that - and the Checkmates! Oh well…still a greart bargain!
Dee
PS - the checkmate full seats are AWESOME to wash, and hold up great!
ETA - looks like some of these items have sold out…but the quality of every garment I’ve bought from them is great!

Of course, I didn’t notice until after I bought the cords that they seem to have self patches, but the local seamstress can probably do Clarino for me.

And, just as an aside, WTF are manufacturers thinking when they decide to go with self patches? Are they on drugs?

I thought I was being a wuss for feeling that way too - glad I’m not off base in wondering that too!
Just wondering why SmartPak is cutting the prices so deeply on some of these items…is that a regular thing from them just to move stock that is taking up more space than they want?

They always do this when they have a few leftover items that need to go.

I like Fuller Fillies. I do wish they would come out with things that were styled for the US market.

Very true! For example a nice polo shirt - the one they had with the contrasting stripe at the bustline…well, highlighted too many areas that most of us are trying to minimize! I would love it if they came out with a schooling tight that is more North American styled too.

I got 3 pair of the cord breeches: black, grey and claret. And I got the golden brown hunt jacket. I’d been eyeing it for a long time because I love the brown color of it. But I am so not into pink. So I wasn’t going to spent $275 on it or whatever it was. But at $29.00… I figured I’d take the chance that I might not wear it all too often!

They are incredibly soft - I have them in a slate blue. Going to be getting my jacket in the olive shortly - they are out of it now though. For that price…you can’t beat it! Still hoping on my boots…that’s the one piece missing for me.

I just ordered the genie jods for $10 and the neoprene half chaps for $6. Not sure about the jods as they only have an extended knee patch and I prefer a full seat, but for $10 it’s worth a shot.

How do the coats run? I think the brown one is pretty, and they have it in my street size, but I rarely find that my street size fits in riding coats. I’m a 16, but my coats range from 20 to 22. If these are true, I need one!

I did a quick google and found this - apparently the jackets are pretty generous. I wonder if you could have the 20 taken in?

I have a jacket I ordered in the grey tweed for hunting this fall. I ordered it in an 18 and it is a little generous especially through the bust. Other than that, it fits well.
