won't let me edit thread/posts

had a bit of a mishap and ended up double posting a thread, but one of the duplicates managed to take on the title of a post I’d attempted to start weeks ago (but the OP content is identical to my other thread and is in no way actually related to the title that the duplicate took on). When I go to edit, none of the post content shows up in the edit window, and when I click “go advanced” nothing happens.

I just tried editing a post in a totally different area and it’s doing the same thing.

I use Chrome, but tried on Firefox as well and am having issues on both browsers.

Which thread would you like to delete? I can do it for you, and then we can see if the problem persists, or if it was a random glitch.

I still can’t edit any of my posts, no matter the subforum, and regardless whether they’re a thread’s original post or a post later in a thread. It makes no difference if it’s a post I made in someone else’s thread, or in my own thread. No idea what’s going on, I cleared my cookies, and even uninstalled/reinstalled both Chrome and Firefox, but the problem persists.

Hmmm…I must admit, you have me stumped! If you like, I can try logging in under your account to see if I have the same problem and/or you can try creating another account to test that one.

I’ll have to reset your password to log in as you however, as we don’t have access to user’s passwords, so I’ll await your response before I do anything.

Moderator 1 - did you have any luck/did you get my PM?

I spent most of the last couple weeks trying to log in and despite resetting my password several times it wasn’t working. I FINALLY managed to get myself logged in!

Maybe I should just open a new account and see if that makes any difference? It’s the only other thing I can think of trying since no matter what computer I use, I have the same issues with my account. SO confused! haha!
