Woodbine is going to have some races in the “wrong” direction. I think this is super kewl.

What do you think the challenges for the horses, jockeys and tracks would be?

I guess this would be good for those that have a left sided soreness?

It’s my understanding that we will be running these on the turf, which will be nice for the fans, as the turf course is right on the rail at Woodbine.

Ooooo I like this idea!!!

Our 3 y.o. worked on the E.P. Taylor Turf Course this morning, going clockwise. :)Didn’t seem to bother him. Saw a few others that were quite ‘looky’, and bending in the ‘wrong’ direction.

Trainer says that before horses can be entered for the clockwise races they have to train on the course.

I think we’re aiming for the clockwise race for him, next weekend. Will be interesting.

Way kewl & best of luck, mht. If you could, can you please post when you know the date? Thanks!

Will do.

Awesome. I always find it interesting to watch the races in New Zealand with the Harness horses, as they go the “Wrong” way… I often wonder how the trainer adjusts the racing equipment. Like my horse races with a headpole on the right side, would I need to switch it to the left or maybe he wouldn’t need it at all.
