Woods Western Saddlery Question

I’m on my 3rd saddle in less than a year on my 5 yo… I feel like I’ve gone to he!! and back with saddle fit and put on hundreds of miles on my car trying different saddles. I was getting really close to ordering one but that would have taken 3-4 months of build to the specs I needed for my broad shouldered, low withered boy.

As I was returning two McCall saddles to a local tack shop (since they didn’t fit), I came across a Wood’s Western custom Reiner. I sat in it at the store and instantly went “ooh” (later, my adoring husband said that was the 1st time in my saddle search he saw that I liked the saddle instantly). I remember sitting in it and knowing how good it felt in the store may not be duplicated on my horse. However, after riding him in it 3-4 times, I put an offer on the saddle and I’m happy to say it’s mine.

So, my question is around the brand itself. It’s a really nice saddle but I can’t find any history on the maker and was curious if anyone here could fill me in. The logo is “Custom Saddle by Woods Western”. I found their website and they do seem to be on the high-end ($500 show pad!) but I can’t find anything on their saddles. Any input, experience, thoughts is appreciated. TIA!

They have very good quality items. Leather is good quality and any silver would be sterling overlay.

Thank you Showbizz; I agree, the leather is superb! Do you know if their saddles are made to order or if they’re “off the shelf” and have certain “models”? I love how close contact this saddle fits my horse and me. I appreciate any details. Thanks!
