Woof Wear Pro Event Boot?

Has any one tired these boots? I am thinking of ordering them but they did not get very good reviews on the SmartPak site.

I am in need of a hind boot for my cob size mare, which has been a bit of a challenge. Anyone know if they fit true to size or fit big/small.

Any feedback is appreciated!

I have those for my mare. She is 13.3 and wears small fronts and medium hinds. I’ve used them at probably 5 events so far- no rubs, no slipping, no complaints. The hinds are probably a touch big for her- I definitely wouldn’t want them any longer and they have to be adjusted as tight as possible, so the velcro sticks out a bit.

I have a 16hh appendix/paint with short cannons. I tried all the brands, and these fit the best. Very pleased with the quality.

I have them for the hinds and fronts and I am not a fan. My back boots slip on my gelding. No matter how tight I do them, they slip. Not a fan. That being said I liked them on my old horse. He was a little thicker in the leg though. Well made, though the velcro frayed quite a bit even though they never have been in the dryer.

The hinds slip, on EVERY horse I know. We bought them at Rolex and the rep we bought them through has been super to deal with ever since I notified her of the issue, apparently they have a modified product out in the UK that addressed the slipping, but it is not in US stores at the moment. Until it is, I would buy a different hind boot.

I like the Woof Wear ULTRA (not the Pro or Eventer models) a LOT.

i had a pair of hind boots, and they slipped terribly whenever they got wet. They did OK in the arena. I’ve not had that issue with the other Woof lines, so I’m guessing it had to do with the elastic straps rather than regular non-stretch straps. Not sure why though, that’s the only thing I could figure out.
