Wool flocked jump saddles brands?

Looking for suggestions for brands that make wool flocked jump saddles. I know of Black Country and County but what others are out there? So many are foam nowadays, but I really want a wool flocked so I can adjust it to my horse over time. Thanks!!

Patrick, Erreplus, Kent and Masters, Ikonic…

Passier, Stubben, Schleese

Thanks! @kashmere I thought Stubbens were foam nowadays?

 I didn’t know that! That breaks my heart a wee bit.

I don’t have a jumper anymore (my mare has decided all four feet on the ground is where she’d like to stay!) but I ride in a Schleese dressage saddle that I love so much I would not hesitate to recommend a c/c model.

My Stubben isn’t foam. I bought it about a year ago; it’s a Get Connected.

Some of the Stubbens are foam; others aren’t. Some models are made with either foam or wool.

Some of the French brands have a wool option…they may or may not advertise it much. I know you can at least get Butet and CWD in wool.

I think Prestige has moved to some kind of synthetic / foam blend flocking, but it’s still done and serviced like wool (not solid panels). Some models might still be wool.

Thanks all! Just checked and Stubben jump saddles do come in wool (with foam as option for some)–yay! Not sure who told me they were only foam but thank you for the correction! Maybe I’ll check out those…any thoughts on Stubbens?

Update: The wool they use is 100% recycled type wool, which includes a thin layer of foam rubber material and then wool felt.

Has anyone had experience adjusting these panels recently? A saddle fitter told me they may technically be wool but are very hard to adjust.

Generally the “off the rack” Stubbens are foam, but they 100% make them in wool. When I had my Portos custom made, the rep’s preference was for wool, (which is what i wanted). I think you could probably “special order” an off the rack one in wool if you wanted instead of going custom.

CWD does not (& in my experience WILL not) make any saddles with wool flocking.

Barnsby are almost all wool flocked. There are some models that have foam. Oldie but goodie if you can find them!

Harry Dabs are also mostly wool.

I second Erreplus

Kieffer, Prestige, Jeffries, Ideal, Passier, Barnsby, Berney Brothers, Schleese, Ainsley . . .

Love them! I have a Portos for jumping, foam, approx 3 years old super comfortable and holding up nicely. My dressage saddle is a new Juventus, wool, with biomex seat. My horse and I are very happy with both.

I just got a new Jeffries with wool.

I love mine. I have a Roxane VSS with wool flocking; I bought it about three years ago and have not been disappointed. My rep was great to work with–so accommodating. I absolutely love my saddle; it was one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.

There was a Stubben thread recently in which someone with a bad experience with Stubben talked about what happened to her. You may want to look that up just to hear the other side. The thread was called “Stubben Ascend,” I think. This person pointed out that Stubben’s resale value is not that of the more popular French brands, which is true. However, the fact that you are looking for a wool-flocked saddle may suggest that you aren’t interested in quick turnover.

There was a time when CWD did offer a wool option, maybe they have since changed their policy.

Adam Ellis! His Chloe cc model looks and rides like it’s french, right down to the integrated panel, but it is wool flocked so the best of both worlds!
