We have no way of knowing that BTDT is really with the PO in Vegas and that the PO is okay with being formally outed. How is it okay to post the member name of the real PO?

I hope your realize this is funny coming from the person who on page 1 (or was it 2) said they were leaving this thread and not coming back and then ended up (at this point) having the 5th highest post count in the thread.
I do agree that it was not appropriate for someone to decide to out who they determined was the real pony owner.

Oh, how original! Because participating on a thread where all parties are anonymous is exactly the same as outing someone on a public BB.
I would love it if you could point out where I posted any identifying information about either the OP or the PO. I’ll wait while you pull that post up for me.
It’s one thing to enjoy a trainwreck online and a totally separate thing to out someone who has had the good sense to not involve themselves on a Google-able internet pile on that could affect their business.

The point is if you know people are investing time and effort into that process, then it is poor to let them believe they can pick up x, if there is a chance that is not possible. And then to add conditions that were not discussed before. Your forgetting the pony may have left with a saddle purchase.

It would be like going to pick up a horse you thought you were going to buy and the seller decided to up the price when you got there. And you flew.
The PO has admitted that there was an issue on her side, which is decent.
