Looks like a blast!! Anyone doing it? We are seriously thinking about starting up a few shows in our area (SE PA) this year and want to get your thoughts!!
I haven’t done it but it looks like so much fun! I’d love to try it. I understand there is a fairly new club promoting the sport, I’d get in touch with them, I’m sure they’d help you set up a chapter.
How close to Maryland?! I’m very interested - even if I can only watch.
It IS a blast!! Did a clinic and show with my Mustang last summer and we both loved it!
What is it? Is there a governing association?
In Florida its quite a thing… There will be a huge clinic close to me. I like watching it, but I have my doubts that the average rider will be able to do it as it is supposed to be…
I mean it includes jumping flying changes and a lot of extensions and collection…As far as I see it most people who plan to participate in the clinic will use it as a dressage and long line clinic which I think is sad…

It is just what the name says;

And there is a national club just getting started. It is a new and growing sport.

We’re in Chester County so you’re not far!
http://www.weiausa.com/ claim to be nationwide. They have set up Facebook pages for a lot of states like https://www.facebook.com/WorkingEquitationGeorgiaLLC
The trouble is that nothing seems to happen much in this particular state, and all the posts on the Facebook page seem to originate from somewhere else. I guess it depends on the administrator for the individual states, and this one seems to be a slacker. I think if you live in a state with a large Hispanic/Latino horse owning population there will be plenty of WE activity.
