I see a skewering in my future if I handled the garrocha pole at speed!

It is tremdously good fun and training for the individual obstacles is a brilliant way of increasing flexibility, cleaner, quicker responses etc.
Like handy pony / gymkhana games for adults!
Great addition to any ridden horses’s repertoire
It’s been a ‘thing’ over here for around 20 years or so now, I used to work for a couple of the first UK team members.

I started this convo on this a couple years ago, and am just getting into it now myself!

I am super lucky we have licensed shows that are just an hour haul away. The group also hosts clinics and schooling shows too. I just volunteered at the last show of the season and got to meet a bunch of the local people involved. Im excited to start at it next year!

This is now becoming very popular in parts of Canada as well, tho unfortunately not near me. It looks like so much fun!
