I guess it’s all in the definition of “top entertainment”. I put the horses in that category and it seems you put LV performers in it. No judgement on you, different strokes for different folks and all. I’ve been to Las Vegas enough times that I never want to go back. I’m going to plan on Omaha though!

It was disappointing that the international stars (IW and TRT) giving clinics were cut short, despite the protestations of the audience, in favor of lesser presenters (including some repeat appearances). Some promised presentations listed on the show bill were not, in fact, presented, as a foreign spectator complained to me. I understand that situations can arise so that substitutes are necessary, but it seemed that the organization and time management of a couple of sessions were lacking.

This was my biggest complaint about the whole thing. Cutting IW and TRT short was a huge disappointment. They should have scheduled more time for Isabell to allow for her to run over to accomplish what she and the rider were working on. As for cutting TRT short for a second western dressage demonstration by the same woman on the same horse as the day before… AYFKM??? I get that they have to stick to a schedule. The people who got the jumping tickets got 4 days of actual competition. Dressage people got two days of competition and two filler sessions. As “fillers” go, Isabell Werth and Tristan Tucker were over the top FANTASTIC! Cutting them short was really disappointing.
