World Cup Las Vegas 2020

I think that there’s a box to check or someway to indicate that you’d be willing to move for better seats. They need to see who is coming or not in order to make any changes.

WE got our tickets. Same seats as last time in Las Vegas, full package for dressage & jumping (not VIP) - $889 each with all fees, etc. Seems about $100-ish higher than last time.

Last time in LV, I was able to improve our seats from the ones we’d had for previous LV World Cups, by renewing our tickets while letting them know that I was interested in better seats if ones came available (which was after other season ticket holders had the chance to renew).

We have always had aisle seats, so were given the opportunity to upgrade to other aisle seats closer to the ring (could have gotten a few rows even closer if we’d given up the aisle). I expect something similar could happen this time, but we’ll be fine with our existing Plaza aisle seats, even though they’re not dead center of the long sides, so I don’t know if we’ll bother asking to be contacted about a possible move.

At Omaha, we were only two rows behind the VIP seats.

Does anyone know when tickets go on sale to the general public?

Another ? for those w/tickets. Are they doing the same schedule as in the past? Wed schooling, Thurs GP, Fri off, Sat Kur? Thanks!

Scroll down this page and you’ll see the tentative schedule: https://www.worldcuplasvegas.com/

Bumping this up as a reminder to anyone who still wants to renew their tickets, as the deadline to do so is Friday, May 31, before 5 p.m. PT.

Another reminder that this is the last chance for ticket renewal.

Folks might want to start thinking about booking hotel rooms pretty soon also. The 2020 NFL Draft will also be in Las Vegas in April. The NFL dates should be later in the month, but the dates aren’t set yet so who knows…

We already checked our choice of hotel but, unfortunately, reservations are not being taken there this far in advance. Same thing with booking airline tickets.

Will definitely try to stay on top of this! Thanks for the heads up about the NFL draft possibly being a conflict.

Hotel Reservations for 2020 Las Vegas World Cup

Hi,

I’m Rich Devin - a Las Vegas dressage competitor and Player Development Host and I’m happy to help out with hotel stays at any of the 9 properties I represent in Las Vegas… for my fellow equestrians.

If you’re interested in details send an email to me RDEVIN@Caesars.com and I’ll get the best rates for you and help with any Vegas questions… of course you’re under no obligation to play (gamble) but if you do, I can offer comps on the rooms, shows and food & beverages…

Looking forward to having everyone back in Vegas.

The NFL draft is the week after Las Vegas World Cup - taking place in the new Caesars Forum, the draft so far is only affecting Sunday night hotel rates (April 19th.)

April 18-22, 2020, is the National Association of Broadcasters convention with estimated attendance of about 100,000. That weekend will probably be expensive.

The Broadcasters convention happened the same week as World Cup in 2015. They have multiple conventions in Las Vegas every weekend. I would only be worried about big, one off events (like Mayweather vs Pacquiao, the NFL Draft, NFR finals).

Luckily the NFL Draft is the week after World Cup, April 23-25.

Las Vegas is always really expensive unless it’s January or February. I wish they had kept World Cup in Omaha.

Our group got our tickets and I wanted to book hotel early. Called friends and there was some disagreement about the hotel or the type of rooms, so I held off booking (although I should have booked since there were free cancellations). By the time everyone reached agreement, the hotel I wanted was sold out. We booked another hotel, walking distance, not a casino, nice enough. I think that one is sold out now. So yes, you need to book your hotel.

We just booked a room in our chosen hotel. Whew, glad that’s done!

The refundable/changeable/free cancellation rate is considerably more expensive than the last time the World Cup was in Las Vegas (staying at the same hotel), but it has been years so, oh well.

Still can’t purchase airline tickets yet.

I received the WC 2020 presale email this morning but the link to enter the code and purchase tickets doesn’t work in IE or Chrome. Has anyone been able to purchase today?

Does anyone know how many seats are in the VIP box for $2k?

$2K gets you one VIP seat, Its not a box!
