World Cup Las Vegas 2020

As a FEI World Cup Season Ticket holder, I received the Las Vegas Events January email asking for updated contact information, in advance of the expected March send-out of ticket renewal information.

Since I hadn’t received any further communcation, I called the Las Vegas ticket office today; the representative told me that they were behind, but another email will go out next week, or the week after, with instructions on renewing season tickets.

And I was told by a friend that those of us who went to Omaha last year will also get the email… hope so.

Did you receive the January email? I’ve been to the WC Finals three times in Las Vegas, plus Omaha, so Las Vegas Events had my contact info from when I attended there.

In previous years In Las Vegas, persons who had season tickets for earlier Finals there had first crack at keeping their seats (same as with season tickets for other events elsewhere, such as symphony performances).

When I get an update, I’ll post.

Thanks for sharing this; I was wondering!

I did get an email in January from Omaha Equestrian, but it went to the spam filter and I did not see it. It’s now gone… all I can see is the first line… accepting applications…?

THanks for posting anything you get!

I’ve been to Las Vegas twice, and to Omaha. I’ve gotten nothing…

As I understand it, the emails go to the people who bought the tickets…

Well, I sure didn’t steal mine!

Here’s the text of the January email I received from Las Vegas Events; I hope that this is helpful and will answer some questions. Please note that it mentions that the recipients of this message are receiving it due to being season ticket holders the last time Las Vegas hosted the World Cup, in 2015:

[I]"Dear FEI World Cup Season Ticket Holder,

As you may have heard throughout the equestrian world, Las Vegas is very excited to announce the FEI World Cup will be returning to Las Vegas in April 2020. The latest big news is the return of the finals to the Thomas & Mack Center. The 2020 Finals in Las Vegas were originally slated to be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena but unforeseen scheduling difficulties arose at the new venue. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect as the Thomas & Mack Center had recently completed a two-year $75 million major renovation. The Thomas & Mack Center is now ready to welcome back the world’s premier horses and riders in what is now a truly world-class facility.

As a season ticket holder to the 2015 FEI World Cup, you will have the first opportunity to renew your season tickets for the 2020 season. At this time, we would like to confirm we have your current contact information including mailing address. If your mailing address has changed since the 2015 FEI World Cup, please reply to: TicketOffice@lasvegasevents.com.

We anticipate sending out ticket renewal information in March. During this time, information will be provided in the event you are looking to make changes to your 2020 ticket order.

For information on the event, please visit our website: http://worldcuplasvegas.com/. Should you have additional family and/or friends interested in being informed about the event, please send them this link. Once they join the World Cup Club, they will be included in all future communications.

If you are not interested in renewing your season tickets for the FEI World Cup in 2020, please reply to this email and we will discontinue all correspondence moving forward.

Regards,

Tim

[Edit] I never implied that. I bought the tix for our group. I will get the email, not the other folks in the group. Maybe you purchased them from a friend? [Edit]

Pretty sure you need to “join” or otherwise opt in to the Las Vegas events organization sending you emails.

I got an email today…

As did I. There was mention of further important emails to come in today’s email.

According to today’s email:

“Exclusive Offer to 2015 All-Session Ticket Holders
From April 15 – May 31, 2019, All-Session Ticket holders from 2015 will have the first chance to order All-Session Tickets for 2020 during an exclusive renewal period. This offer applies to either jumping or dressage or for combined packages including both disciplines.”

And so far I have not received any emails. Still waiting…

PSA: If you make any changes to your “order” like adding or reducing tickets, Las Vegas Events can make the change but can’t automatically update the cost information. They direct you to the Box Office at the Thomas and Mack. The T&M box office doesn’t open until 10 Pacific and the number is 702-739-3267

Friend who has purchased our tickets in the past was told email was sent just after 10 AM today. She didn’t get it. But they gave her her acct number & told her to call T&M direct.

Has anyone seen a price list?

Plaza level dressage package seats are $450 each and they add in a processing fee and something else. I was charged $952 and change for 2 seats.

Any idea what a full ticket for both events isn’t?

Are you only given the chance to buy the exact same seats you had before?

We had good seats so not the end of the world but closer is always better.

That is my understanding at this time.
