World Equestrian Games in eventing no more?

Did I miss something? There are no WEGs anymore - at least not in eventing? I saw this referenced in an EN article and then read this: https://inside.fei.org/media-updates/fei-board-allocates-key-events-until-2026#:~:text=In%202026%2C%20the%20Longines%20FEI,held%20in%20Monpazier%20(FRA).

So the only 4/5* championship is the Olympics??

I believe they just have not selected a host yet. Looks like Burghley wants to bid.

WEG is no more, but disciplines are hosting their own world championships. Last year they were combined where possible, Pratoni had eventing and driving, Herning had jumping, dressage, para dressage and vaulting
