Dave Palone won five races on Friday at The Meadows, giving him 16,754 for his career and breaking the world record for most victories by a harness racing driver held by German Heinz Wewering. A full story will follow.
I actually watched the races where he tied and then broke the record (thank goodness for having a TV in the barn at the track a bonus to being stabled at Rideau Carleton!).
How cool! Congrats to Dave!
