The mother of Verdi is an imported Holsteiner mare from stemm 474A. She was bred to Quidam here in the Netherlands and her fola was registred KWPN.

That mare has a lovely pedigree, she is out of a 3/4s sister to Jalisco B and with Nordlys, Water Serpent and Furioso up close.

Interesting enough about #2 who is registered KWPN. Q-Verdi (Groep Verdi) is out of the full sister to the mother of Calato. I was unaware of this tidbit until Bayhawk pointed it out to me. Interesting to see how the motherline keeps a coming.

She is out of Quanagra who gave birth to Viking du Tillard who competed in the Olympics in Atlanta and Cabdula du Tillard a very successful International GP competitor.
She was exported to the US as a 6y/o and returned to Europe 2 years later. (Her original name is Midtown du Tillard)

Actually her original name was MicMac du Tillard but Georgina Bloomberg changed that to Midtown du Tillard upon buying her as a 6 yo. Yes lovely but not an easy ride as Georgina found out and returned to sender, but I´m sure that Angelica is happy about that. Verdi needs blood on the mothersite, despite his 56% XX percentage on Horsetelex. I doubt if our mare has enough.

I did not realize that an ISH offspring could get registered in any of the WB registries (EU based registries). I was always told they were considered “draft” crosses and thus not eligible, so I stuck with only ISH registration for my WB x ISH

I think that the offspring have to be crosses to be registered in other warmblood registries. A RID cannot be registered, but an ISH can be - one parent must be something other than RID.
