This is probably kind of a dumb question, but when it comes to horse world ‘etiquette’ I tend to overthink things so I just wanted to run this by someone else before I do it.
I have been casually looking for a new spot to board in my area for awhile. I’m currently boarding about 45 minutes from my house, so looking for something a bit closer for my mare. Recently, on a horsey FB page catered to my state, I saw Person A make an ISO post looking for similar boarding requirements as me. Person B commented on their posting and offered board at a nice barn that’s very close to me and invited Person A to message them privately. The barn doesn’t have a website of any kind, a Facebook page, etc so messaging the owner privately is the only way to contact them. Would it be odd if I messaged the owner as well, mentioning that I had seen their comment on someone else’s post, and inquired about board?
