This is like say that because I’m on birth control, then I’m sedated. It didn’t occur to you that this is what the mare is NORMALLY like when her hormones aren’t going haywire? Regumate suppresses the heat cycle. That’s it.

My sister used to lease this horse - he was a bit of a buzzhead when she first leased him as he was at a stable with little I mean little turnout. Owner moved him to another barn where horses had minimum of 8 hours turn out. First show she took him to after the barn change, people who knew the horse all swore he was drugged LOL. Nope, he just wasn’t cooped up in a stall anymore.

Note: I’m not at all implying that school horses are cooped up and therefore need drugs, my point is more about this particular horse and people’s assumptions. Just like the time one trainer complained that another trainer had put this chestnut horse in too many divisions. That chestnut was one of 4 chestnuts showing that day all with somewhat similar markings. :slight_smile:
