Just wondering if anyone can give me any feedback on the temperament of any Wynton offspring & what sort/type of mares best suit him???
I have a 16hh mare that I want to put to something a bit more leggy & refined as the mare is very solid in the frame & body & is a bit short legged. She is a modern type in that she is compact, elegant & reasonably refined in the legs & head but is just very deep & board in the body. The mare runs a bit hot & cold temperament wise- generally she is very good but she can be a bit spooky & is reactive without being super sensitive. She is quite a dominant mare so is not really an amateurs horse.
I was considering Wynton for his type, mechanics & bloodlines however I am wary of the Jazz temperament with my mare. I have been advised by German coach not to put any of the Sandro Hit line over her so I’m steering clear at the moment until we get an idea what she passes onto her progeny…
