Yarrow Brae sons?

Are there any Yarrow Brae sons standing in the US or Canada?

Unless someone has something in their backyard, no, there are no advertised Yarrow Brae sons in the US or Canada.

His last season was 2016, although his crops were small the last few years in WV; he had 1 foal born in 2017, 2 in 2016, 1 in 2015… so not a lot of hope for a young son appearing. But maybe you can ask O’Sullivan Farms if they know of any who kept their jewels.

Also, sometimes you can find a privately owned/advertised son or a sport horse son if you look at a horse’s offspring in Pedigree Query and sort by sex, then click on all the listed colts and horses and read their info.

Thank you, I appreciate it!

Another option is to purchase the get of sire report from equineline. I think it’s twelve bucks? Maybe 18?

It will list every registered TB foal. From there you can try contacting breeders. I’ve done that a few times trying to find foals by specific stallions. Unlike PQ, it’s complete, and accurate.

His last male foal is now a Gelding. But his 2014 colt, Yar Mitzvah is still listed as Colt and owned by O’Sullivan. $12k in earnings. His dam was by Prized. Yar Mitzvah last raced in Nov 2017 at Charlestown in WV.

Prior to that, he has a 2013 colt named Aubreys Joy. HIs dam by Meadowlake. He was eased and walked off the track in his last start in May 2017. Last owned by Meagon Shanley and trained by Timonthy Shanley.

Some of Yarrow Brae’s highest earning intact males were in Maryland. Perhaps someone knows if one of them is still around

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys!

I have a 2 year old son of Yarrow Brae. He will be available after he is done racing.

No stake in this, but what is the bottom side of your colts papers look like?

I just watched this race for reference from the Triple Crown thread and thought you might be interested:
