Wonderful!!M

Love it. And they were remarkably fast putting it into place!!

As fast as the jockey’s silks getting re-painted on the weathervane at the end of the Preakness!

A slight tangent.

I am currently in Scotland, and the news programs here are keeping a separate tally of “Scottish medals”.

I have no trouble believing that.

Did I hear that one of the riders on the British SJ team was actually from Scotland? Or maybe one of the horses?

Scott Brash is from Scotland. Scotland is part of Great Britain. This is not directed at you, but it’s amazing how many americans I speak to who think British=English.

Slightly off topic, but years ago when I was competing for Wales on the showjumping team, Scott Brash joined our team because he wasn’t on the Scottish team and we only had 3 people on ours for some reason. We ended up with silver on that occasion, Scott had a time fault which cost us the gold. He was forgiven! lol. He was always a very nice guy. He rode a lovely palomino and white 13.2 if I remember correctly.

Yes, I know. I just remember the commentator mentioned that it was unusual to find a horse/rider at that level from Scotland, since Scotland is not known for it. I wasn’t sure what to make of that comment.

I’m not sure about that, I just know when I was a junior I traveled all over the UK competing, and quite a few of the top riders were from Scotland.

Wonderful re the PO boxes!!!

And Scotland does have a number of top ranked riders in both SJ and Eventing!

That is so cool.

What a great idea. Love it.
