The peepers are SO loud you have trouble hearing the hounds in the distance.
When the point-to-point season gets going !! 
They were extremely loud today. Friend and I took our horses out for a ride around the farm with the dogs. Love that sound.
That is how it was on Wednesday!! No wind, the hounds were ahead of us but riding by a pond the peepers were blasting away. 
3 more weeks then we are done. 
I miss peepers!!!
You know it’s the end of the season when you have a mouthful of horse hair every time you smile over a fence or on a run --SHEDDING horse doesn’t taste good at all!
